One would expect planning a ceremony overseas to be stressful and burdensome, but for us it was the exact opposite. Celebrants in France went above and beyond in regards to personalizing our ceremony. Previous to conversing with her via email neither I nor my husband had given much thought to our exact vows, but once Celebrants in France encouraged us to incorporate our own personal touches into the ceremony’s dialogue it quickly became the most exciting and meaningful part of planning our wedding.

Sandie Smith is a professional wedding celebrant who has been living and working in France for the past thirty two years. She speaks both English and French fluently and is a font of knowledge on getting married in France. She travels widely in France , UK, Spain and Italy to perform non-religious, inter-faith and humanist ceremonies . She composes each ceremony to reflect every couple’s unique story . Thanks to her own very colourful life experience ( which we won’t go into!) she embraces all ideas no matter how formal or informal.
