French Flower Style is the creation of Lisa Gatenby. She began her Florist career in 1990 as a Saturday girl in a family owned florist in Manchester, and was immediately hooked on flowers. Lisa's work has been featured in National Bridal magazines and she has also won national competitions in the UK. Moving to France was always something she and her family dreamt of doing so in 2011 Lisa and her family moved to the South West of France.

In the UK she worked in the 5 star hotel and corporate hospitality sector before moving to France where she managed luxury châteaux. French Wedding Company was born out of her passion for creating unique events that see clients enjoying great experiences

In 2004 we were making documentaries for national television, a wonderful job but it didn’t quite tick all of our creative boxes.
We racked our brains, did a lot of research and discovered that no one was making decent wedding or event films.
Six months, and £25,000 of start-up investment, later we left broadcast TV and Gorgeous Films was born.
Since then we have filmed over 1,000 events for a variety of fabulous people including BAFTA award winning directors, sports stars, politicians, actors and even royalty.

10 years ago I started shooting reportage style weddings in the Dordogne and Provence regions in France. So 2019 is my 10th anniversary! It’s been an amazing journey and I’m still shooting weddings and most importantly still loving it. My style is what I like to call “Relaxed Reportage” So What does that mean?
