If you are looking for a relaxed, friendly and fun professional photographer who adopts a natural style, who loves to get to know his clients to understand their needs as well as their likes and dislikes, and aims to capture their personality in his photographs, then that is me.
I have been photographing people, things and places since I acquired my first film camera in the late 1970's, yes that long ago. I progressed to medium format undertaking wedding, lifestyle and commercial projects before selling my equipment in the 1990's. Then, following a move to France, in 2012 I bought my first Canon 5D entered the digital age and restarted my photography business.
Today my approach to photographing weddings and events is very different to my days working with film. It’s more spontaneous, informal, discreet and relaxed. I like to spend the least amount of time organising and positioning people. In fact, my perfect wedding assignment is one where the couple say, "just blend in as a guest and photograph what you see as it happens, we don't want any formal photographs".
